Välisriigi kohtulahendi tunnustamine Eestis
I want to move my 13y old son to Estonia as I have a new family here. To apply for his residense permit I don't have a consent from his father but I have a Georgian Court decision which says child's place of residence shall be my current address in Tallinn. I called migration service here which said that Georgian court decision has to be recognized by Estonian court and then submitted to Police for the child's residence permit. I called Harju county which says the Georgian court decision has to be officially translated into Estonian and apostile attached. There are no official sworn translators that can translate from Georgian into Estonian. 1.What can I do in such a case? 2. Is it really needed that a Georgian Court document is recognized by Estonian court? Thank you!
